Davis Henderson, Tourism Coordinator for KEDC, is responsible for the development of culture and tour packages for Kwa’lilas Hotel, Pier Side Landing and k’awat’si Tours; coordination of the artist selection with Shain Jackson; and management of a number of agencies that work with KEDC in public relations, advertising, and design. He has been with KEDC since September 2015.

Prior to his position at KEDC, Davis worked for the Sacred Wolf Friendship Centre and in a number of positions at construction sites. He graduated with a Destination Resort Management diploma at Capilano University. Davis is a proud and longtime member of the community being born to his parents Johnny Henderson, Nakwaxda’xw and Tina Henderson, Gwa’sala. At a young age, he developed a passion for the Gwa’sala Nakwaxda’xw culture and joined the Tlatlatlonam Singing group that was founded in memory of a lost brother. Davis is a proud father to four wonderful children and is happily married to Shannon Henderson.
