Closed Container Agriculture Manager

K’awat’si Tourism Company is seeking a Closed Container Agriculture Manager to lead our modular greenhouse project. As the Agriculture Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the greenhouse’s operations, from production planning to sales and community engagement. This role is designed for a leader passionate about revolutionizing local agriculture through sustainable practices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic plans for crop production, sales, and operational efficiencies within the closed container farm
Lead and manage the farm team, including technicians and other staff to achieve project goals and deliver high-quality produce to the market
Oversee financial management of the farm, including budgeting, labor cost, optimization, and financial forecasting to ensure profitability and sustainability
Build relationships with community stakeholders, customers, and suppliers to enhance the project impact and market presence
Innovate and implement sustainability practices to minimize environmental impact and contribute to the community’s well-being

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

3 years of experience in a related field
Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, Horticulture, Business Management, or a related field
Proven experience in agriculture management, preferably in greenhouse or closed container systems
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent analytical, financial, and strategic planning abilities
Passion for sustainable agriculture and community development
Ability to lift 50lbs
